今天在社区报读到一篇报道，是关于Commonwealth Bank将在下周五关闭其在Willoughby的分行，理由是这个分行每周处理的transaction不到100笔。CBA的发言人说，在目前的经济形势下没有理由再保持这个分行，客户可以去CBA在Chatswood，Northbridge或者Artarmon的分行办理业务。 同时，另一家大银行NAB也证实将关闭其在Turramurra分行，估计理由也差不多。 有一位名字叫做Ian Leisk的退休老先生 （他好像是个名人，SMH专门报道过他http://www.smh.com.au/news/envir ... /1193618885439.html） 对此非常的愤怒，他是CBA的客户已经有60年了。他写了一封信给Northshore Times表达了他强烈的不满，其中心就是 银行不再是人们的银行了 银行对其客户只看（transaction）的数字。而不是作为”人“来对待。 银行眼里只有利益而没有”人“。 这封信写的很短，但是很有力,我爱看这样的投诉信，特别是最后一段。 CBA is banking on the people by Ian Leisk (Chatswood) It's good to see that the Commonwealth Bank is putting profit before people. It is no longer "the people's bank". The closing of the Willoughby branch is a snub at the community. The pensioners of the area will have to pay $1.8 for the return bus trip to Chatswood while the CBA directors sun themselves on the Great Barrier Reef. There are more than 500 small businesses in the area, of which a large percentage would be CBA clients who find parking easy and quick at the Willoughby branch. They waste an hour with the parking problems and queueing at Chatswood. I know it is probably too late for the CBA to reserve its decision. Greed always seems to win. But if we don't protest they might as well start putting the silicon chip in our heads now and we won't have to worry any more. |
