There are four concerts in the series - the first of which is being held on Sunday 19 June. Bookings are essential and there is a limit of four places per caller. Concert One: Dreamer in the Deep A beautifully crafted live puppetry performance for the whole family, accompanied by an original soundtrack. WHEN: Sunday 19 June, two screenings: 2pm and 3.30pm WHERE: Oakleigh Primary School (Logie St) BOOKINGS: open Monday 30 May & close Friday 10 June. This concert is fully booked. Concert Two: Spear A contemporary Aboriginal film told through movement, sound and dance, directed and crafted by one of Australia’s most celebrated artists, Stephen Page. Seeing Luis Poblete and his band will be a perfect way to finish your weekend. WHEN: Sunday 14 August, 2pm-4pm WHERE: Monash Gallery of Art (860 Ferntree Gully Road, Wheelers Hill) BOOKINGS: open Monday 25 July & close Friday 12 August. Concert Four: The Little Stevies Do you love live music and want your children to appreciate it as much as you do? This Melbourne band will play a family-friendly gig in one of our favourite live music venues. Noise is welcomed, crawling is encouraged and dancing is expected!
