Hi all (This is a must read for those who have been told by their employer to apply for an ABN and work as a sole trader) i am getting increasingly frustrated over hearing about employers telling their full time employees to work as sole traders (holding ABNs). to keep things simple, The reasons employers want to do this are most likely: 1. wrongly advised by their accountant. 2. to get out of paying superannuation. 3. to avoid paying workcover for its employees. 4. to not pay PAYGW tax ALL THE ABOVE ARE ILLEGAL AND.....
