Job Description
· Primary Responsibilities Include:
MSP System Engineering: The ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems with data integrity, MSP program functionality, ATI game software and hardware, and SQL server. Below are services provided by MSP System Engineers, as well as other duties as assigned:
•Provides 24 hour support to MSP Service Support Staff, field technicians, and customers.
•Writes and develops complex SQL queries.
•Analyzes data trends.
•Rewrites SQL stored procedures (Programming).
•Reproduces issues in test and lab environment.
•Describes technical issues in written and verbal to R&D and customers.
•Provides ad-hoc technical training to MSP and Field Service on games and MSP applications either verbally or written communication.
•Manage and plan the setup and configuration of all MSP sites. Including managing third-party vendors.
•Plan, Implement and execute Disaster Recovery procedures.
Project Management:
•Manage and plan the setup and configuration of all MSP sites. Including managing third-party vendors.
•Manages the technical process of new installations and upgrades of the MSP system at ATI Primary, ATI Secondary, and customer remote locations.
•Plan, Implement and execute Disaster Recovery procedures.
•Independently configures, prepares, and tests MSP equipment and associated third-party applications/equipment.
•Maintains and verifies data integrity of MSP system.
•Identify and resolve operational problems and make necessary repairs and adjustments to minimize downtime and prevent future problems.
•Analyze data trends within the MSP System.
•Responsible for maintaining MSP Operations and MSP Equipment operational 24/7.
•Works closely with customers during the installation of company products to address problems and provide customer service.
•Designs and implements complex custom SQL stored procedures and crystal reports
•Coordinates and manages the installation of software release patches and action plans
•Trains MSP Support Staff on maintenance and management with the MSP system.
Custom SQL Application Design and Testing:
•Troubleshoots problems with all MSP software and hardware products.
•Works with gaming regulators when necessary to insure the proper operation of all MSP products.
•Identifies and reports potential MSP software and EGM issues to R&D.
•Documents and updates in-house knowledge database for MSP issues.
•Design and implement custom SQL Maintenance Plan using SQL Server Agent and Transact SQL.
•Assist R&D, QE, and Business Analyst on testing and the specifications with new releases and applications.
•Assist R&D and QE in recreating issues discovered in field.
Network and Telecommunication Design and Testing:
•Manage the design and development of MSP communication infrastructure.
•Manage MSP site Install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for MSP Operations. Supervises third-party vendors.
•Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to the MSP equipment, server and client system failures, networking, and routing problems involving MSP’s wide area network.
•Develop and implement system maintenance and system administration to comply with standard practices.

Job Requirements
Position requires:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or related field from a 4-year accredited university.
•Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) or equivalent.
•Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Experience:
Minimum of three years experience in a related technical service and support role and Casino Operations.
Minimum of three years experience with database platforms (i.e. MySQL, Oracle, DB2, MsSQL)
Skills, knowledge, and qualifications:
•MSSQL Server 7.0 and 2000.
•Transact SQL programming.
•TCP/IP, WAN and LAN topology using Cisco architecture.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have strong communication skills, able to work independently and be team oriented.
•Must be able to act as team leader and redirect workflow appropriately.
•Proven customer relation skills.
•Must be able to obtain gaming license in all jurisdictions that have the MSP product line.
•Must be able to read, write and speak English.
•Must have strong analytical, problem identification and problem solving abilities.
