Family Planning NSW Services
Family Planning NSW provides a range of reproductive and sexual health services for women and men of all ages, these include:
•        Information and provision of contraception (including IUD and contraceptive implant insertion [Implanon NXT®] and diaphragm fitting)
•        Emergency contraception
•        Sexual health and safer sex information
•        Assessment, testing and treatment of Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs)
•        Fertility assessment and referral
•        Pregnancy tests, information and counselling regarding pregnancy options and pre and post natal checks
•        Pap tests (cervical cancer screening) and breast awareness information
•        Assessment and management of menstruation and bleeding problems
•        Menopause information and management
•        Referrals for vasectomy and tubal ligation
Family Planning NSW clinics are staffed by fully qualified doctors, nurses and receptionists.  Family Planning NSW is committed to training post graduate doctors and nurses, therefore another doctor or nurse may be present during your consultation.

Cost of consultation
Family Planning NSW is a bulk billing service. Please present your Medicare card upon arrival. We charge only the MBS scheduled fee with no out of pocket expenses required for consultations with our doctors.
Family Planning NSW is committed to serving all clients regardless of their ability to pay. All non Medicare card holders are welcome at our clinics. Please speak with your doctor, nurse or our receptionist if you are unable to pay fees that may be associated with your consultation.
