Girl Guide and Scout

Is there anyone who send their kids to Girl Guide or Scout?  How do you think about these association?

My daughter is in Girl guide. She enjoys it very much . She goes there once a week for 1 and a half hour. They play, cook, make craft, etc.

It looks like there aren't many people responding to this post.  I think it's not common among Chinese families?  Do you find that the participants mainly come from western families?
