羡慕不已啊，最近复苏强劲啊，加州IT失业率是-4% （又看了一下，不是加州硅谷）

就是工作职位比人多。。。奶奶的

再看看澳洲，妈的

之前还看见，哥伦比亚大学硕士一个班，毕业全进google, facebook, microsoft

I'm an Aussie ex-pat living in the USA since mid 2009. I don't know how the job market is in Australia, but here in Texas, USA it's insane!!

For example, I've been working with a contractor, whom told me that in the city of San Antonio, about 80km south of the state capital Austin (No... not Dallas), unemployment for Software Development is -4%... yes that's right folks, there are more jobs than people to fill them.

I was also told, by said contractor, that his mate at K-Force, a local agency, has a stack an inch thick of ASP.Net job contracts that he cannot fill!!

I can also verify this, as since putting my application on DICE, a US version of SeekIT, I've been getting 1 to 3 calls A DAY, from agencies around the US looking to hiring me on for various contract and full time positions.

It appears the next tech wave is sweeping the US, as companies are starting to bring workers in house, and stop throwing work over to India.

My advice, if you've got a degree and can thus get an E-3 working visa, and you've got no quarms about moving to the US, then seriously look into it. Once you're over here and working, agents will be banging down your door, seeking your talents.

Besides, in CA, the average salary package for fresh graduates (IT/EE industry) is around 100K to 130K.

c++, linux在澳洲做embedded，大概10-15个工作里面有一个吧，美国非常多

fresh graduate... 100k? 我倒是不信，但是随便一个有5年以上的，这都不是问题

Don't forget most companies offer you Stock Options and RSU, which is part of the package.
Some companies even do 1:1 match of 401K.

Base + Bonus + Stock Options / RSU + 401K Match + Broadband & Mobile reimbursement + etc.

这个太理想化了，是有那么牛逼的人和公司，但是不可能鸡犬升天，google员工平均也就9万多，还是第一第二高的

但是美国物价比澳洲便宜个30%没问题，唉

OZ citizenship is a must.
You don't want to compete for H1B visa. The quota has already been used up for year 2014.

去美国搞 IT 比这里强多了。好一点的。20多万很容易。
有空可以去华人网看看,做的东西也带劲。

美国给中国护照的H1B名额配给每年是6万，忘了包括不包括其中2万给本地中国大学生

最容易抽签的时候好像也是50%概率，不好时候几年也抽不到

所以要么读书，要么换国籍

正解 没入籍的基本没戏 而且需要Degree 不过这条对于足迹的童鞋相当于没说。年轻人冲吧。

But I just checked if you can make 200k
In USA, after tax it is 150k around, while
here you can get 130k around not much different.

I can't make 200k per year here  just a data comparison.

Maybe one day if we can't find a job here USA is another option for us.

美国的CS Master可是真格的，和英联邦国家的master不一样

澳大利亚的IT那个水啊，技术可能比中国还差，许多人都是冲着移民来读IT的，读好IT搞到PR，转行，也找不到IT工作，本来就不是IT的料
