Since Apple debuted iPhoto for iOS at its March 7 media event, the app has racked up an impressive number of purchases.
The Loop’s Jim Dalrymple reports — and AllThingsD has confirmed — that Apple has sold to unique users more than one million downloads of iPhoto for iOS in under 10 days.
At $4.99 per copy, that means Apple pocketed nearly $5 million in revenue from the app in well under two weeks. That’s quite a haul given the app’s young age, but not at all surprising considering the generally positive reviews it has received.
