Our client is a listed securities investor with an outstanding history of achieving excellent results for their clients over the 16 years since its inception. Their team of investment professionals is focused on 'one single mission' - to provide their clients with a 15% annual rate of return on their capital. With offices in Hong Kong, Mumbai and Sydney, our client aims to invest long term in high quality listed businesses in the region.
To support their pursuit of long term investment excellence they are actively seeking an experienced Business (Investment) Analyst to join their operations in Hong Kong.
Your primary objective in the role will be to:
Analyse and evaluate businesses in order to understand their full potential and risks
Assess the true value proposition using both qualitative and quantitative research skills
Analyse industry trends and benchmark target organisations to best practice competitors
Identify long term investment themes, trends and growth prospects  
Your background will most likely be in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Funds Management, Auditing or Accounting, although this is not essential and candidates without this background will still be considered.
However, you must possess;
Qualifications, skills and experience that provide you with a high level of expertise in a particular industry
Strong analytical and observation skills
A curious, enquiring, insightful and logical mind  
Well developed investigative skills
A strong commercial sense
Big picture focus but with a high attention to detail
Tertiary qualifications which could include; Economics, Commerce, Arts, History, Science, Engineering, Medicine etc
