As mentioned, I am looking for a DBA/ SQL developer for a client of mine.
Please find below the details:
My client is a global publishing company responsible for popular magazine
titles prominently placed on news stands. They have an on-going project
with fairly high-end database integration running on SQL. They have the
skills set to build this application however, they need someone with the
skills to maintain/ administer once this has been set-up. It's an
enterprise solution that manages finance, circulation, purchasing and other
management information.
A position is being created for a database administrator to develop and run
a new SQL Server-based MIS solution.
This is not a straight DBA position, but an exciting role including the use
of Analysis Services to deliver financial reporting and forecasting
capabilities.
The successful candidate will be customer-service orientated and must be
willing to interpret the role broadly to make the MIS project a success.
Skill sets include: DBA SQL Server (maintenance, config, development), DBA
Analysis Services (OLAP), Report Writing and Programming (VB, net, excel).
This is a very exciting company to be in. The company is based in the city
and it's a predominantly jeans and shirt culture. |
