How to make work attire fun

Jms, I found myself obsessed with fashion shots and fashio discussion lately especially those Paparazzi shots. But, but, but, the trendy styles,  are not for office. I hardly have any social activities during the week, and often just do housework on the weekend, the usual outing is to go out to have dinner.

My question is how to make the office wear more fun and trendy? I usually wear trousers as it is too cold in the office for skirts. I wear skirts/dresses more often in Winter than in Summer with the help of  high density leggings and knee high boots.

I wear jackets and usually black wool trousers and hate to wear suits becasue it just too formal. I have been in this company more than 5 years and I don't feel like to so formal everyday. I want to be comfortable but fun, trendy, and still fit into the office dress code.
