Research Assistant: 1 Year Full Time Position Available Immediately.

  A research assistant/fellow position is available to work in a project on
  Sequence Design for Wireless Communications

  Eligibility Requirement: You need be an Australian Citizen or posess Australian Permanent
  Residency visa. It is not sufficient to be able to work in Australia [such as during the
  application process for Permanent Residency].

  The appointee will help the academics conduct research, as well as carrying
  out his/her own research in analyzing pseudorandom sequences with
  good correlation properties for wireless communications.

  The appointee will need to write programs in magma and C to evaluate the
  correlation properties of quadriphase, biphase and related sequences
  necessary for wireless applications.

  An undergraduate or masters degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or
  Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Some research
  accomplishments in the area of wireless communications or discrete
  mathematics are desirable.
