Labor still has 2pp lead – just
Remain calm everyone. Any reasonable estimate of the current count still has Labor ahead of the Coalition on the national two party preferred count - just.
But whether it still will at the end of counting is another question.
From election night until yesterday afternoon, the Australian Electoral Commission’s website was overstating the ALP’s after preferences lead by about 0.3 percent.
This was because its national total did not include five seats: Kennedy (Qld), Lyne (NSW), Melbourne (Vic), New England (NSW) and O’Conner (WA). And for a while it had small numbers for Denison. (Denison popped in and out of the count, actually.)
The first five had no numbers because on Saturday night the commission correctly anticipated the contest would not be Labor-Coalition. So when they commenced the count they didn’t even look at the two party preferred numbers. And they still haven’t (but will eventually).
In Denison they started counting Labor versus Liberal but then realised it would Labor against an independent (Andrew Wilkie) and started counting again.
Yesterday afternoon, the AEC took out Denison and two more seats: Batman (Vic) and Grayndler (NSW). As in Denison, they had commenced counting Labor - Liberal in these but had to start again when it turned out to be Labor versus someone else (in these cases the Greens).

在Denison，他们开始计票时认为将是工党和联盟党的竞争，但随后意识到将是工党和独立议员Andrew Wilkie的竞争，所以重新开始计票。
昨天下午，AEC把Denison和另两个席位Batman (Vic) 和Grayndler (NSW)排除在外。因为在Denison,他们开始统计工党和联盟党的得票，但当发现事实应统计工党和另一个人的竞争时，还未重新计票（这次是绿党成员）。

议员是在选票最高的两个候选人之间产生。所以数票的时候要按照two party perferred来数。
刚开始的时候选举委员会以为是工党和自由党之间的竞争，结果就按照这两个党的候选人是主要候选人。结果发现是绿党比自由党得票多。结果就要从新分票。

难道不是
A:xxxx票
B:xxxx票
C:xxxx票
......
这样计吗 如果开始只锁定两个人 风险太大 一旦不对 全部重来
还有 统计结果应该用电脑记录吧 不应该出现一着不慎 满盘皆输 这样搞效率也太低了

我是点过票的，那时候是这样的：
先看好两个热门的。
比如说一个工党，一个自由党。
剩下的可能还有绿党，一国党这种的。基本不理他们。
下议院的票上不是要写1-n吗？
那么点票的时候就分成两堆。一堆是工党，一堆是自由党。
在工党的格子里写1的放到工党那堆里，在自由党的格子里写1的放到自由党那堆里。
但是如果工党和自由党都不是1，那么就要看谁在前面了。比如说工党是4，自由党7，那么这票就算是工党的。
但是有时候点着点着发现其实绿党比自由党多。。。那就麻烦了。从头来过。。。

做成电脑程序应该省很多事吧

澳洲比较落后，不然用电脑投票会省事很多。
