I try to use Google Doc. It does not allow me to create a new doc. I have been using Google doc for a while but have not created a new one for months. Any suggestion? Thanks.

I do not have MS Word. Also I read somewhere that Google's Chinese input is much better.

Just create a new Doc in Google Doc, no problem.

what exactly is the error message?

Also IME has nothing to do with if you use Google Docs or Microsoft Office.

Mine is VISTA and I got no problem with Google Doc. I also use Google Pinyin and it's much better that MS IME, but that has nothing to do with Google Doc. Try Google Chrome, that's very Google friendly.

for security reason, Google Doc has access permission setting. It has to be shared to related people by the owner. Check your Google Doc and see if it was shared properly.(paopaobing(3))

to be fair, google docs is faster while ms office web apps' more powerful
