苹果iPad提供两种数据消费套餐具备朗读功能 [复制链接]

据国外媒体报道，随着苹果iPad平板电脑开始在美国接受预订，iPad的更多发售和功能细节也浮出水面。苹果将为用户提供每月消费套餐和备用电池更换服务。在功能方面，iPad将有一个按键用于停止屏幕旋转，同时iPad还具有朗读功能。3G版iPad的购买者可以选择每月消费套餐。苹果将 iPad的消费套餐称为“突破性交易”：每月15美元可以使用250兆的数据流量，每月30美元就可以无限制地数据消费。购买者可以自由选择这两种消费套餐，并且可以随时续定或取消套餐。

在英国，沃达丰也为iPad用户提供了类似的每月数据消费套餐，不过没有不限流量的套餐，3G是流量上限。不过，没有人会在iPad使用BT下载，因此对于普通的应用程序来说，250兆的流量已经足够。

用户选择每个数据消费套餐之后，iPad会有一款专门的应用，在流量快要用完的时候提醒用户，同时允许用户升级、取消或激活月消费套餐。

根据苹果的iPad电池更换服务，如果用户的iPad因电池寿命到期而无法继续使用，苹果将为其更换一部新的iPad，苹果只收取99美元的服务费和 6.95美元的运费。

iPad的朗读功能VoiceOver可以朗读任何当前正在运行的程序，包括电子书。亚马逊的Kindle电子书阅读器在推出类似的功能时曾令出版商感到极为不满，因为这将影响到有声读物的销售。但苹果还是决定冒险推出朗读功能。

根据CNN的预测，目前已有12万人预订了iPad

Analyst: iPad pre-orders to top half a million before launch

He shared his data with Fortune magazine. It shows that sales slowed over the course of Friday, and then continued at around 1,000 per hour throughout Saturday and Sunday. However, while that may sound a little disappointing after the initial demand, it still suggests half a million pre-orders and reservations will have been taken by the April 3 launch. Tello continued:

My best guess, although very tentative given the early stage and few data we have so far, would be that they hit the 1 million unit milestone by the second week after it ships. But this is a very speculative guesstimate based on just a weekend of pre-orders.

If true then that would be a fantastic result for Apple. Not only would it easily beat the 74 days it took the iPhone to hit the one million milestone, it would also mean Apple had sold as many units of the iPad in five weeks as some analysts thought they’d sell in the first year.

In terms of which flavor of iPad is selling: the Wi-Fi-only models have so far outsold the 3G models by more than 2-to-1. And the 64GB capacity iPad is slightly ahead of the 16GB and 32GB capacity models.
