请教小学开学日期和学区

我外甥明年要移民来澳洲 （他们全家移民），请问一下这里小学开学日期是什么时候，要在什么时候报名，还是随时可以入学的（公立）。他国内现在是4年纪，到这里之后要读几年级？还有我们住在hurstville，请问怎么知道属于哪个小学。谢谢！

2010年度NSW的School Term
Term 1。。。。。。。。。。。。。。 27 January to 1 April
Term 2。。。。。。。。。。。。。。 19 April to 2 July
Term 3。。。。。。。。。。。。。。 19 July to 24 September
Term 4。。。。。。。。。。。。。。 11 October to 17 December

所以明年小学开学的日子是27/01/09。
新移民Year4，Year5的孩子只要你安顿下来，有了住处，带居住地的证明（比如租房合同等）就可以随时去学校报名，随到随上。
你孩子应该是读这里的Year 5，但是具体以学校校长决定。
