悉尼的小孩5周岁上学吗？我的儿子是2005年3月21日出生的，他哪一天可以上学呢？
Carlingford Public School怎么样？和Carlingford West Public School不是同一个小学吧？

在新南威尔士州，孩子7月31日满五岁，当年就可以去公立小学（Public School）上Kindergarten（小学预备班）。

举例来说，你的孩子是2005年5月出生，到2010年7月31日孩子已经超过5岁了，这样你的孩子就有资格上2010年一月底2月开学的Kindergarten（很多本地人称为Kindy），一般所有的小学在2009年9-10月份会有Opening Day (或者叫做Kindergarten Orientation Day)，这个时候你就可以带孩子去学校参观和报名了。

carlingford west 听说是成绩很好的学校，里面华人比例很高。
carlingford public, 我打过电话问catchment area, receptionist可热情了，给我寄了申请表，过了几个月还打电话问我申请学校了没有。
最终我们还是选择了murry farm，离家近，结果发现印度小孩比例和中国小孩和鬼佬小孩比例差不多
north rock public, 我见到了校长，人可真好
我们租的房子几个学校都可以去，所以都去看了看

你的孩子是2005年3月出生，到2010年7月31日孩子已经超过5岁了，这样你的孩子就有资格上2010年1月底2月开学的Kindergarten，所以你现在就可以去报名了。
