Planning Proposal for an area between Archer and Bertram streets
To amend the Height of Buildings for 51–61 Archer Street,
34-34B Albert Avenue and 30-32A Bertram Street, Chatswood, to 90 metres.
Eight houses and 12 townhouses in Chatswood have been consolidated
Proposal for 3 towers of 90m
The site is also opposite the Chatswood Police Station.
The proposal has been recommended for approval by council.
And to Forward the Planning Proposal to the Department of Planning and Environment seeking a Gateway Determination
Proposed northern tower (Albert Avenue / Archer Street corner) – total height being
part 28 and part 21 storeys
- 3 level commercial podium
- A residential tower above, partly 25 storeys and partly 18 storeys
Proposed south eastern Tower (adjacent Bertram Street) – total height being 23
storeys
- 3 level commercial podium
- 20 storeys of residential
Proposed south western Tower (adjacent Archer Street) – total height being 29 storeys
- 3 level commercial podium
- 26 storeys of residential
Approximately 451 car spaces.
The scale of the development as proposed would deliver approximately 355
apartments across the 3 towers
Development consent must not be granted unless, in the opinion of the consent authority, the proposed
development exhibits design excellence.
