** BofA Global Research says any potential restrictions on rare earth exports would be a boost for prices in the short-term, but it does not see a blanket ban occurring
** The law comes into effect on Dec. 1, and despite not naming any target countries, the United States and China have been at logger heads over a number of issues
** Around 80% of U.S. imports of the critical minerals come from China
