A quick question about independent Corporate Advisory Firms, how would you rank them in Australia?

1       Caliburn
2       Lazard Carnegie Wylie
3       Grant Samuel
4       Gresham
5       Palladio Partners
6       Pottinger

Would anyone agree with my half attempted ranking? Is there any other reputable corporate advisory firms I missed out completely?

Lazard Carnegie Wylie

is the only firm I dealt with before..they seem quite good in valuation area.

Nah. It has an advisory branch , consists of more than 250 MA and corporate practioners operate. In the south asia pacific region. Its specialisation in mergers and acquisitions and corporate advisory, equity capital markets, private equity, funds management have won a considerable no of awards.

A lot of law firms do corporate advisory / M&A / IPO / Private Equity work, but with legal focus.

Lol. Out of ur list of 6, I have onlydealt with palladio for a client that has corporate limited partnership restructure. And the replies they supplied me is well written. Lol
