後來我回了一封很客氣地信,謝謝他和Karen的幫助,並且解釋我可以自己付費修門的,只是要得到他們的允許,結果變成Karen回信說他知道英文是我的第二語言(就是說我英文寫得不夠流利)然後要我不要再吵了,我知道我英文不夠好,但是我很有誠意很盡力的在和他們溝通,現在覺得華人真的很弱勢,現在只想把房子賣了再也不要和他們聯繫~

Karen and I advised you previously that the Owners Corporation will not repair the gate or the lock of your exclusive use garden, and that you should attend to the repairs at your cost. Your unit can be secured, as the rest of the units in the building, with locks on windows and doors. This gate is not the main entrance to your unit.
XXX, we are dealing with terrible crisis in the World at the moment and frankly both Karen and I spent more than enough time to deal with your issues, that I really not important. You are taking up our precious time away from people who need it more all because you don’t want to spend money to fix your lock.
The Owners Corporation paid a gardener to look after your lawn for a really long time and have not asked you for a reimbursement yet. I think to be fair you could pay for your lock repairs. In the meantime I am going to invoice you for the lawn mowing that the Owners Corporation organised for you and your tenant, as allowed under your exclusive use by-law. I attach one of may invoices that will be added to your levies.
I suggest you fix your lock ASAP if you believe your property is not secured.
This matter is now closed.

Firstly, I really appreciate the assistance from both Karen and you in this matter.
I understand that Karen and you have spent considerable time to deal with my enquiry and explain to me patiently. Also, I realized that you might think that it is not an important matter at this moment with crisis. However, I could not find anyone else except you to get the correct answer since you are specialist in strata management. Therefore, I have to rely on your professional knowledge in order to avoid any mistake. Again, I really appreciate your reply.
Also, I am not sure whether there is any misunderstanding as I do not receive any notification from the executive committee that I am responsible for maintaining the security gate door in my courtyard. In fact, I did not mean that I do not want to spend money to fix the lock and the reason is that you have previously advised the courtyard area is served as an emergency access and could not be enclosed. I was thinking if there would be any problem if I fixed the lock and keep the keys myself.
Also, in accordance with page 1 in the common property memorandum, the security doors on courtyard are maintained by the owners corporation and therefore I assumed that the owners corporation will fix the lock. As I have already clarified that the responsibility for maintaining the security door, I will handle the lock myself.
The world is undergoing crisis and many people including myself have suffered. However, it is not the reason why I do not pay for the cost of fixing the lock.
I really hope that we are working in a cooperative way. Sometimes I do not know which part of the property I have the responsibility to maintain and you could advise me and I am happy to accept my responsibility.
I would like to thank for your continued support in the past and hope you stay well and safe. Also, I hope our relationship will be friendly in the future.
