Last night is my 3rd night in HK, went to the Happy Valley racing Course with colleagues. quite amazing place , much bigger than any racing courses in Melbourne. thousands people over there, diff nationalities and diff ages. I did not enjoy the race very much. 6 of us stand around a small table drinking beers for 2 hrs. did not had any dinner, my stomach was filled all by beer. the sad thing is I did not see the real horses, just smell the grass and watch the big screen. put 100hk dollar on two horses one is Double happiness (what a traditional Chinese name), another one is super fantasy. neither of them brought me any luck , double happiness came to the second , almost there. I can't understand why people enjoy this kind of game, there was no fun at all. watch a soccer match would me more exciting than this. we finished the racing ard 11pm, me and 3 others went to a bar called Gecho(don't know where the hell it is), the bar is even smaller than my one bed room apartment. there were almost 40-50 people in the bar. a live band playing some kind of caribean music, I thought it's jazz, but colleague told me that's caribean music. anyway i love the music. but you can imagine in such a small space the music is damn loud. to pick up words from the others you need make your face close to their's , made me feel like gay. I don't know why they love that place. too noisy for me.
came back apartment at 1pm, read some mails then went to bed
today I came into the office first, still feel dizzy |
