Q: I HAVE BEEN REQUESTED TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION WITHIN 28 DAYS, CAN I HAVE AN EXTENSION?
A: All applicants are requested to provide documentation or act upon document requests within a 28 day timeframe.
Where documentation is being obtained from a third party, as long as the requests (such as Assurance of Support, medicals, police clearances) have been initiated with the third party, no extension of time is required. However, upon the expiry of the 28 day timeframe, we would appreciate submission of any available documentation and progress advice in regards to the outstanding items so that we can be satisfied that appropriate action is being taken.
Please be advised that documentation should be submitted as it becomes available – there is no requirement to wait until all documentation is ready and available before submitting the items. |
