A cracked rail is causing delays for City circle trains across the network this morning. Normal services are operating however trains are only operating in one direction.
Transport Management Statement: "Trains are running in one direction only on the City Circle from Central via Museum due to urgent track equipment repairs between Town Hall and Wynyard. T8 Airport Line trains are terminating and starting their trips at Central so passengers may need to change at Central to complete their journey. Passengers travelling on the T2 Inner West & Leppington Line, T3 Bankstown Line and T8 Airport & South Line are advised to allow plenty of extra travel time, listen to announcements and check indicator boards."
