Description
We are currently seeking a legal assistant/paralegal/law clerk with experience in property related matters, for this in-house position, to support the Manager Real Estate within the Company Secretary & Legal Services Department.
The successful applicant will assist with a variety of tasks related to formalising property rights for our company.
Primarily this will involve reviewing requests from internal clients and completing standard documents such as agreements for lease, leases, renewals of lease, easement and caveats and you will attend the Land Titles Office to register dealings on title as required.
Ideally you will have at least 2 – 4 years experience in a legal assistant, paralegal or law clerk role with a detailed understanding of common property transactions and property related documents.
You will be confident, well organised and have strong communication, computer and customer service skills, and be able to attend to a variety of administrative tasks.
Success in this role will rely on your ability to prioritise tasks effectively, negotiate with customers and their solicitors, and ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is delivered.
