The accountant role:
1. Payroll:
Processing weekly payroll for 150 employees via time& attendance system
Processing quarterly Superannuation payment and managing employee’s super account
Monthly payroll tax return
Help to the workers comp claim, other HR related questions
Month end Wage journal
2. Takings Management:
Checking and entering store daily cash-up sheet and reconciling with POS system
Posting daily Takings journal
Daily Cash and EFTPOS sales reconciliation with actual banking
3. Accounts Payable:
Overseen outsourced AP processing
Company credit card management
4. Month-end:
Month end journal
Lodge Monthly IAS
Quarterly BAS payment
5. Fixed Assets Register
Posting fixed assets in Fixed Assets register
What you need to succeed:
Must have minimum 3 years hospitality accounting experience and can use MYOB
Can complete the weekly payroll independently
Strong Excel skill
Multi site management and POS system knowledge preferable
Good verbal and written communication skills
A can-do attitude towards change and progress
