Scoot and Norwegian airlines are having sales and it is possible to combine them to fly to London for just $616 return from Perth, $656 from Gold Coast and $676 from Melbourne and Sydney.
These flights must be made using 2 bookings. You fly from Australia to Singapore on Scoot, and then Singapore to London on Norwegian Airlines. It is important to leave time between the flights in Singapore in case of any delays, as your booking will not be refunded if you miss a flight. Meals and checked bags are also extra. Its not for everyone, but it is super cheap.

Scoot flight leaving Melbourne on 1/Feb arriving at 4:55pm in Singapore for $276

Norwegian flight departing 2/Feb at 10:50pm, returning 15/Mar for $400 AUD (430 SGD). It arrives in Singapore on 16/Mar at 8:35pm

The Scoot flight then departs Singapore on 18/Mar at 12:25am.
Alternatively, you can depart Singapore on 17/Mar on Scoot for the same price, but then you only have 4 hours between flights.

Scoot flight leaving Sydney on 1/Feb arriving at 3:10am 2/Feb in Singapore for $276
