不知道小伙伴对Penfold 家红酒有没有兴趣？ 他们家那么多Bin Number 都有些什么意思呢？最近突然爱上他们家家BIN 389,
The most collected Penfolds Bin is 389, which is a South Australian Cabernet-Shiraz blend. In Australia, Wine Ark lists, Bin 389 is the second most cellared wine in Australia (behind Penfolds Grange). The wine is nicknamed 'Baby Grange' because components of the wine are matured in the same barrels that held the previous vintage of Grange.
如果不是看了这段介绍，还以为Bin Number 有什么特殊意义呢！原来只是采集葡萄的数量来决定的。。。但是这款389 真的很浓郁，爱不释口啊！价位在$60AUD左右。
■Bin 389 cabernet shiraz 2009
Since its first vintage in 1960, Bin 389 has never missed a year. Stylish as ever, the 389 template remains unbroken: blackberry pastille sweetness with herbs on nose, vanillan oak, black fruits, dense and tannic wine edging into a clean, dry finish.

Bin 28
Following the creation of Grange, Max Schubert's vision was to create 'a dynasty of wines which all had an unmistakable resemblance to each other. The first wine created in the series was Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz in 1959, a wine initially made while Grange was still being crafted in secrecy. Originally a single vineyard wine, Bin 28 now characterizes Penfolds contemporary winemaking philosophy, with fruit sourced from premium vineyards across several regions, including the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale.
当然还有他们家BIN 28 也是很流行的一款，价位在$45AUD 左右。
Special Bins
In truly exceptional vintages, Penfolds will release a Penfolds Special Bin. Production of Grange and Bin 707 is always prioritized, but then if a parcel of fruit is available which offers something extra, different and unique, a Special Bin may be produced. Special Bins were first released in the '50s and '60s during this renown period of Penfolds experimentation. The 1962 Bin 60A Coonawarra Cabernet-Kalimna Shiraz is perhaps the most famous Special Bin, once described by Australian journalist James Halliday as “the greatest red wine ever made." Recent examples include 2004 Block 42 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2008 Coonawarra Cabernet-Shiraz. The wines are extremely rare, reflecting the meticulous standards and expectations of the winemaking team.
