Butterflies in the stomach, 在某个场合心里紧张，忐忑不安。

其实最初这个短语是医学术语，Wikipedia 解释说：Butterflies in the stomach is a medical condition characterized by the physical sensation of a "fluttery" or "tickling" (hence butterflies) feeling in the stomach.

后来引申的意思就是泛指紧张的心情，例如

Before the debate Jane was very nervous so I griped her hand and asked her to calm down. When her name was announced she stood up and whispered to me “I am getting butterflies in the stomach now”.

其实这个短语跟中文里有个形容词“心中如小鹿乱撞”很相似，也是同样的比拟。
