E-VIS is a professional IT Development company specializing in local government applications, Electronic Document Management solutions and Web Site Development and Design.
We are currently seeking someone to join our dynamic St. Kilda based team, in the position of Production Assistant. This entry level position that will give you valuable experience in an office environment and an opportunity to increase your skill set.
The primary responsibilities of this role involve assisting in the production department at E-VIS where essentially we convert paper files to electronic files. You will be involved in preparing, scanning and indexing documents. You will need to be flexible as you will also be helping out with other administration and general office duties.
The successful applicant will be neatly presented, enthusiastic and willing to learn. You will need to be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own at times with little supervision but also as part of a team. We are looking for someone who displays initiative, who is accountable for their work and has excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures. You will also have good communication skills. You will need sound computer skills with the ability to type and key numbers quickly and accurately essential.
Working shifts:
Two months full time paid training + Part time shifts
Part time shift: 3 days 2pm -6pm
2 days Full day
