不好意思一直忘记回了，elective估计会学corporate tax, property law,trust。corporate tax学的东西实用吗？现在学2b感觉和cpa tax学的内容和深度差不多，不知道考试怎么样？

I have completed the corporate tax & property law. It is useful as the materials are harder than the CPA materials even though some of the topics were studied in CA / CPA. The examples were better (more detail). Also the assignment were quite useful in my opinion.  The exam was easy but the assignment takes a bit of time to do it.


Property law in my opinion is also useful. The exam was very easy and there was no assignment from my memory.

I did CTA 2 which I guess was harder than CTA 2A & 2B. When I did that subject over that semester, the pass rate was 30 something % and I passed. Having said that, the exam was OK, it was easier than the CA exam (I don't know about the CPA tax exam difficulty). As long as you are answering the question precisely and correctly (even in point form), you should be fine.

The course helps your therocial understandings if you are not familiar with those topics. Whether it helps towards your work depends on how you can utilise those understandings into work situations / cases.

- CTA 1 is similar to university level tax with more practical focus on certain topics such as GST and FBT
- CTA 2A & 2B is similar to CPA Advanced Taxation / CA Taxation. I did the CA Tax and CTA 2 tax (mainly for my CPD) and find both subjects are useful.
- Corporate tax is an advanced level of CTA 2A & 2B.
- Property law helps you to understand commercial law in relation to property
