It's probably due to a faulty phone cable.
Just call your ISP to log a fault ticket and then your ISP will get Telstra technician to investigate it.
If it's something wrong with Telstra's phone cable out of your house, Telstra will fix it without charging you.
If the issue is with phone line inside your house, you'll need to pay for someone to get it done.
I recently had very slow internet speed with TPG. I called TPG on a Friday night and TPG got a Telstra technician to fix the phone cable the next day - a Saturday! Quite impressed.
I personally find TPG's service quite impressive, always coming back with responses quickly and their service reps polite.
Although their service reps are probably in India, they don't have strong accent. |
