Open Telstra customer service lines 24 hours a day.
Cut mobile and broadband prices to competitive levels and send technicians out on weekend.
Bring customer- focused activities into the one business area.
Set up a new division focused on customer experience simplicity and productivity.
Employee training.
Feasibility: yes
Telstra has successfully in 3G networks.
Telstra is the first mobile carrier to rollout 4G, it has 375000 customers, and installed over 1000 base stations, also achieved 14 percent traffic growth per month.
However the large margins generated but the large marketing expenditures also required.
Also the Streamlined business is different business model with Telstra Mobile
Telstra need to secure sufficient spectrum for the medium to longer term.
Competitive Advantage: yes
First mover advantage, ahead of major competitors Optus and VHA.
4G expansion can help Telstra secure a strong lead in the AMTC industry.
