it's more for leisure/amateur photographer(s) or new arrivals rather than singles haha
i'm sure you would have some stunning shots and views over there at dawn
but romance? LOL dont think so!

anyway if it ever happens we do have to leave in the midnight (say 2 or 3) coz it takes at least 2 hours drive
if we leave too late then by the time we get there the sun would be up ...

okee here's my plan: meet or pick up at Market Square 230-3am 16 May 2010, drive straight to byron and arrive around 5ish ... by 7am our mission should be done and time for brekky at GC   ... after that if not too tired, lets go to the natural bridge or visit one or more of the wineries in brisbane (http://www.ourbrisbane.com/food- ... thin-reach-brisbane) until sunset then head back to brisbane for dismissal or dinner etc

buddies, here's the initial plan (subject to changes):

what to do: watch sunrise
when: 15-16 May 2010
where: australia's most eastern point, byron bay
who's coming: 3 confirmed so far, one from Gold Coast

itinerary:
option A
- meet or pick up at Market Square in the late afternoon or evening on 15 May 2010
- join GC people
- dinner at GC followed by night activities such as bowlings, movie, karaoke, drinking or your say!
- head to byron bay around 3 or 4am depending upon our location at the time
- after sunrise, brekky time at GC
- then if not too tired, continue our adventure to the national parks, wineries etc
- otherwise time to go home and have our sweet dreams ~~~

option B
- meet at Market Square between 230 - 3am, midnight on 16 May 2010
(probably too early for public transport so if needed, pick up at your door)
- drop by GC first then continue to byron bay (approx 2 hours)
- arrive 5ish and find your spot for sunrise
- at 7am head to GC for brekky
- after that, if still awake, either visit one of the national parks or wineries surrounding brisssy or gc until sunset
- return to brisbane for dismissal or dinner etc

note:
- bring your DC or DLSR and don't forget your jacket (windy at bay!)
- should you live in GC and wish to join this event, we can meet up at GC first then continue our drive to byron
- if you live in brissy and have no car, i'm happy to pick you up in return for your contribution to the fuel and parking fee (if any) ... once again as i said earlier be forewarned that i'm still on my green P with no sense of direction at all ... my driving skill sucks with two car accidents in record during the past 12 mths ... think twice before you risk your life in my hand  ... but if stay optimistic and follow this "you die, i die" logic ... i too wanna live a longer life so i'd try to drive carefully with caution up-and-down hills haha
- if it rains cats and dogs, this event will be cancelled

indeed, you are an early person and that's why you are in this sunrise tour

by the way, i did search on the net the other night and find some tennis courses for beginner at University of Queensland
five weeks coaching for $80, including court fee and racket etc which is not too bad i reckon
but probably it's a bit too far for you to travel all the way to brisbane just for one thing ummmm ...
lets see if i could find any course held in between us

actually your guess is right
i just mentioned the beginner course only
after that you can enrol another 5-week course at the intermediate level then the graduate level (5 weeks also)
so if nothing goes wrong, you would "graduate" in 4 months time (approx 15 weeks)

i guess busy is a good sign that you're still alive and kicking ... hv sth to look forward (paopaobing(32))

now it's a bit pity that you cant make it this sunday (monkey37) and we cant really change the date either coz one of us is not free next week (monkey13) ... but no worries you only miss one event and i'm sure there are many more upcoming gatherings in the near future ~~~

anyway you've got my mobile so if you do change your mind/plan or are available, please feel free to give me a buzz and we welcome you to join us at anytime ^^
