很赞同你的观点， 当时看到新闻就觉得以讹传讹， 外行看热闹， 内行看门道， 就算是再不济的GP也不会说看不出扁桃体的病变的。EBM usually runs an uncomplicated course over 6-8 weeks. Major symptoms subside within 2-3 weeks. 她回国差不多也是症状快要控制的时间了。

相信是这样的。治疗是对症，退烧，咽痛的吃喝不下的，补液。个别严重的，尤其淋巴结肿太厉害的，加用皮质激素。

你知道国内为什么那么多医闹吗？医生们说话不严谨，常常在背后说同行坏话，尤其是说国外同行的坏话，不是更能体现自己的能耐吗？小小年纪，不要火气那么大，要过节了，要心情愉快才好

and due  to the delay, it becomes cancer...took 2 years to get recovered and she drop out from ade uni...so i dont know

you are misunderstanding, im not effected by it. im just saying one of the story happened around me. i am not that close to that classmate, but all of us felt pretty bad for her. i dont think the Chinese doctors said something bad about Australia's doctor. that chief doctor from china is one of the best in that field, my classmate's parents really arranged the best resources...

she was not able to see one doctor while she had been put into the Adelaide hospital over 1 week(with around 40 degree fever), only nurses. then the doctor had consultation  but other doctors had different opinions about the real cause so she had not received any proper treatment for a couple of weeks. maybe only panadol and cold shower....near a month they still had not reached the same conclusion about her illness, so only give her the basic fluid etc. because she was not stable enough to fly back so her parents have to wait that long. Adelaide hospital's doctors had not gave them a clear diagnose even before they left. Their parents guessed its definitely  tonsil quinsy at early stage. when they went back, the China part doctor used 2 days to do full check and then started treatment straight away

i heard my friend mentioned the china doctor said she should be given antibiotic long time ago rather than delay over 1 month, which made her illness went downhills pretty bad. and  something like at beginning its just a quinsy,then it turned into tonsil cancer....thats what i mean by delay.
luckily she get recovered over 2 years, but now she still cannot work hard or anything. she only work little bit for her dad's company. so im just telling a real case, it does not mean Australia's doctors are not competent or Chinese doctors are better. regarding the conclusion, its up to different people's thought.

because the delay treatment/medicine, an easy case become a trick case. thats what it means. it might be "扁桃体炎" at beginning, then it get worse and turn into cancer, if that make sense.

估计你不是学医的，你可以去搜一下扁桃体癌的发病原因，没有癌症是一个月就生成的，通常情况下，如果是短期内快速生长的癌症，预后都不会太好。
澳洲和中国的区别是，在中国少数人掌握了最好的资源，然后可以呼风唤雨，要啥得啥，那其他的普通老百姓可能就没有那么幸运了！
澳洲大家是资源共享，没有那么多的特权和优待，所以对有些习惯享有特权的人来说，确实是太不方便了。
那我也有好朋友的家人去年在国内发烧近两个月，诊断不出原因，辗转好几家医院，最后到了上海，最终给了诊断，但为时已晚，这都不算最狠的，病人都奄奄一息的时候，动员家属出院。可怜好朋友的家人，在上海四处寻找愿意接收的医院。那才叫一个惨，相信如果是权贵阶层，段不会有这个遭遇。反观澳洲，如果你需要治疗，医生段不会让你出院的！在澳洲是尊重人人，而不是尊重个别人！我想这也是大多数移民喜欢这里的原因之一吧！对，公平！

of course, here's free hospital can be good but sometime maybe not. im only talking about this story happened around me. did i say Australian hospital mistreat every patient? there are a lot of good doctors here. also im not doctor, maybe you know a bit more but it didnot change the true story. if you wanna say here is hospital is better for sure, fine it does not bother me.

of course not, its the symptom, please read carefully what i said. i said symptom not cause...due to here's hospital cannot diagnosis the cause, and my classmate missed the best timing to cue the illness, which lead to a worse scenario, that what shanghai's hospital said.  
这可是你的原话哦，只是copy and paste 而已。在辩论时最好严谨一点

我不是和你辩论的，我是记得那个朋友跟我们说上海的医生大概说了“因为澳洲医生没诊断出病因，我朋友错过了最佳治疗时间，导致了更差的情形” 治疗延迟了然后病加重了。请问有什么问题么？ 这算诋毁这边医生么？不知你一直在和我这纠结什么，终究她的病是在国内过了一两天诊断出来的，而这里一个多月无治疗无诊断结果拖重了病情。也许是交流问题也许是系统问题不同，终究是发生了。也许她留在这终有一天医院也能发现是癌症也一样治疗几年半载也会好，但前期是耽误了啊，让人糟了不少罪。我说的就是身边的个例，你和我辩论也没什么用啊不代表什么，只是告诉大家一个故事而已。

在澳洲医疗行业干了很多年了，医院里最敬业的人是医生。其他职业越初级的，越不敬业，管你轻重缓急，那些打扫卫生的，搬运病人的，到点喝茶，吃饭，该下班下班。可是医生却不行，每天至少一到两个小时的加班，而且是无偿的。
澳洲在医院里的医生真的是很优秀的一群人，尤其是低年资的医生，没有饭点，没有一定的下班时间，很少听到他们抱怨，下班后还有各种学习考试，真的很不易！在澳洲能够最终考出独立行医执照的人都是有真才实料的人，否则是过不去的！赞一个！

我也有过这种经历，刚开始发烧喉咙痛白天看gp用抗生素压着，晚上受不了去急诊，当然轮不到我，这样拖着一个星期，越来越严重，嘴巴已经张不开吃东西，这才拿到referal去急诊，一去才知道是要动个小手术，很快轮到我，打了一些麻醉，把扁桃体的脓抽了出来，很快出院没几天就好了。最后还是回国把扁桃体切了。

grandular fever & tonsilitis这么简单的事情，一个neuts高一个lymph高，澳洲医生不可能搞不清楚。传单病人在急诊monospot,fbc,lft结果 加age group, 有些病人splenomegaly，医生心里就明白百分之八九十了，然后一个EBV serology to follow,送病人回家卧床休息...

抗生素使用的观点不同而已，国内就喜欢炒作，前些年尽一切吹嘘国外多好，现在是尽一切机会证明天朝最好，大国崛起了嘛。

在澳洲有两个病医生很不会医，一个是肺病，一个是肝，因为澳州得这种病的人太少。很多医生只是听闻，没有真实见过

i dont know exactly what doc said. i just heard a few from friend. it was cancer when she went back to china. the doc didnot say the 発炎 leads to cancer. thats my thought. the doc only said it could be treated better if if diagnose earlier thats it.

有的人支持有的不同观点。澳洲的gp很多都是不怎么样，我公公美国飞机回来因为转机等一共飞了30多小时两天内、回来觉得腿不舒服就是血管淤血静脉qu张那类问题，他去看了gp也去了hospital观察一晚、医生拿个ipad让他选你有这个问题，有那个问题么还有是否怀孕选项。。他跟医生说刚有长途飞行，医生说不是那个问题，给了药好像诊断成什么病菌之类的我忘了，让回家等消息，我公公说要不拍片看看吧医生说不用，让回家等验血消息。然后等了三天医院一直没联系他，同时腿变肿了无法走路了，他赶紧去了看专科找了个好的新加坡华裔，那医生一看就知道怎么了做了拍片等做了个小手术，情况挺危险的，这个医生说还好你来了再耽搁就有事了。后来公公打电话去第一家医院一直说那个医生忙等给你回电话，直到他说你们误诊我要采取一定措施那个医生才来找他复诊，后来bla的我就不记得了。
当然我们生病还是一样要去看医生，我对医生也有信心，但不过多问问别人的意见是对的

同意专科强 GP基本较差 看运气。

我是护士 因为国内不是护士 所以我承认我抽血水平较差 因为这里很多医院的path已经被pathology公司承包了 有专门blood collector抽。学校里学的都是假手上抽的，等于没抽。没有什么机会在真人上抽，所以水平不行，但说到底这个就是practice，我相信随着实践机会的增多 我的技术会好的！

其实没什么和国内比的！有不足就承认呗，澳洲不是所有东西都好，中国也不是所有东西都差！

国内医院使用输液可能是世界第一，连个普通感冒都输液，所以随便一个小护士的技术应该都可以秒杀澳洲护士。李大小姐的运气差了些，估计是碰上了菜鸟护士。
还有嘛，澳洲没有高干病房可能也是个大问题，让李大小姐受委屈了。。。
