auditing job is more harder to get  compared to accounting due to higher level requirement  . If you want to find accounting job, don't put auditing experience too much on your CV , otherwise, it would be a negative in that.

for Small and middle size company, they are just interested in your local accounting experience rather than other certification. For the big company, sometimes, they are more concerned about your potential ability, but there is high competition involved.

For the government sector, it is the good place  if you want to enjoy the relaxed life. But the package is sightly less than private and it is also very very hard to get in because of many factors.

For the aduitors, they have good understanding about the financial policy and standard as they are always standing in the frontline which is merit. But from the finacial accounting point of view, they don't have accounting practical experience and lack of hand on experience in ERP system. as a result, it is hard to say a good auditor could be a good accountant.

MY experience proves this is the good point as I didn't have clear understanding about  the details of financial accounting procedure before I got my first accounting job in OZ. Bear in mind, I had 8 years' auditing experience in china for china audit office.

惨了，我理解力有问题，没看懂这段话的意思。。。。

今天第一天上班，二十多人的公司 ，业务急速发展中，看到到我的前景就是很忙，不停输发票，再做一些杂活。不同订单各种型号颜色尺码。。。很DETAIL的工作。。。忽然还是很希望能做回审计，不出二个月我就会觉得BORED的。哎。

QQYANG 同志说的management accountant的工作很吸引，不知我能申请不，呆会好好看看。。。

Prepare 2 different versions of CV, one for accounting and the other one for auditing.You are not different from the rest of pepole when they face the problem of job searching. Sometimes, Think different soultion as smart as you could. Sometimes, you have to think about some ........measures.

No sth special when I worked for China Audit Office and everything had been psssed. I know maybe someone does't agree with my view. But sometimes, if we don't hurt the society and others' benefit, why we can't do *********to get our first job?

don't worry, we believe definitely you will have a clear understanding about the job market after you struggle with the agent. At the time, you will find out the right soultion,.

你有你的优势，你有local education，经验A2是少了点，我当年过来也是A2，全靠做过几个外资银行撑着简历。

你看看找Contractor先，马上年底了，很多公司要对Intercompany往来帐的工作，挺缺的。另外就是打电话给这里的EY，主动寻求机会。上海EY刚刚过来一个小Senior，3周EY MEL就offer了。

也进的是Global Financial Services。现在上海EY也成立金融组（GFS）了。我建议你如果有机会申请去这个方向比较好。回澳洲这里FS客户最大，fee最高，出路最好，相对最辛苦，帅哥最多，美女最多，人也最拽。

你很幸运，进的是金融组，我的客户基本都是制造业，所以在这里没有出路，我自己都不知道为什么这里EY连面试的机会都不给我，呵呵，人各有命吧！

今天认识一朋友，说是这边FIRM还是很好进的，而且MEL的特别容易。努力找些JUNIOR的职位，GRADUATE PROGRAM的也试着投投？

没错，我的工作就是类似BOOKKEEPER，明天去面试另外一家，上周接的电话，没好意思问是哪个位置。不过我这两周投的职位差不多，兵来将挡，水来土淹吧。。

我汗,不知道是我的运气特别背,还是悉尼的市场和墨尔本差距太大,我到现在连一个Firm面试的机会都没有,不管大小.

Amy，有外因，也应该有内因，你还是要好好找找原因，或者找一个比较nice的agent问问原因。

也许悉尼真的树大招风，去的人太多，竞争就比较激烈了。

要么真的可以考虑投一些Interstate的工作机会。

补充一下：好友刚刚移民墨尔本，82年的。６周拿下３个Offer，她４年四大经验。１家是四大，１家是上市financial institution Financial Reporting，１家是what?忘记了。

她比较低调，一直没有在足迹写她的面试经历。

这个我保留意见吧。只是一个身边活生生的例子。但是有时侯，一个人有眼缘，真的没有办法的。

其实国内Big４，招聘受到简历无数，名校的先留下，普通的成绩极其优秀的拿下，然后就是看照片。所以国内才有什么神奇照相馆这个东东。

２００１年安达信还在的时候，５大有一个流传（有没有依据我不清楚哦）：
KPMG喜欢找帅哥 － 后来果然我们班级身高１８０的男生一共几个，就都进了。
EY喜欢找美女 － 后来果然EY是美女不少。
AA喜欢招特别的人（成绩一定要超好）等等。。。等等。。。

简历差不多的，有些就是面霸，有些就是＂四大＂皆空。运气也好，不公平也好。反正中国就是毕业生多。四大不怕招不到人。

One word, Asian women are much easier to find a job here than Asian men. Generally from partners’ view, if he wants to find someone can do hard work and not aggressive, he will hire Asian women. If he wants to find someone can explore the market and can be mentored to higher position, he will hire local males.
