Fence 那边向你不是你決定的，柱子加fence应少於15厘米。

楼主确实不够通情达理，你让你邻居的门如何立起来呢。
不过好心告诉你一下，survey后地上肯定有地钉，在paver上，看不懂survey report的话也可以拿去问council 相关部门，不过他们肯定不会像足友们这样好心搭理你的，准备好吧。

楼主己说是因为 adverse possession, 为什么我觉得不通情达理的是邻居。
现在很多都不用墙立起来的。可用 post 立起来的。

现在新区400-500地的房子基本车库墙就是fence了，现在这样闹，lz还是想想以后gutter出问题咋解决吧

在 Victoria,  Fences Act 有 guidance 的。

As with most fencing matters, if you and your neighbour can agree on where the rails and framing of the fence should face, then you can build as agreed. If not, the Fences Act provides the following guidance:

If it’s between residential land and commercial land, the rails and framing should face into the residential land.

If it’s between residential or commercial land, and land over which the public has a right of access, the rails and framing should face into the residential or commercial land.

If the dividing fence is between two residential properties, or the above rules do not apply, then the rails and framing should go on the same side as the existing dividing fence if there is one.

If there’s no existing dividing fence, the rails and framing should go on the side least subject to weathering, which will depend on the circumstances.

If necessary, a fencing contractor can advise which side is least exposed to weathering but usually rails and framing will go on the same side as they are currently.

就是这原因，没有直接去拆它。
以后gutter 真的出问题只好走上 roof 頂了。
我也问过其它方法，邻居都不合作,我也没有 idea 了。

小地的车库在边上。邻居基本上把post钉到车库上？这样可以少做5米多的Fence。要不你可以和邻居说把fence延长5米，一家付2.5米？

我的 wall 有 10 meters 長。
我之前已跟邻居说我可以付一半如果做 fence。 但他们不想付任何錢。

從没打算去council 问。
我上面已说 driveway 已裝。没可能再找到地钉。

这些事 council 是不会管的。

adverse possession的前提条件是”无主之地“

维州政府的说明如下：
To be able to grant an adverse possession application the Registrar must be satisfied that the proprietor’s rights and those of any other potential proprietors have been extinguished and that they have been excluded from using the land.

楼主你住在那里， 一直行驶着权力。一根柱子，说明不了任何问题。
adverse possession的申请没那么容易， 不是说15年之后就是你的。 你要申请， 拿出证据证明你占用的地是”无主“的。

楼主就是杞人忧天，自寻烦恼

试 search "what's yours is mine"
NSW 就比較难 claim，但 Victoria 比較易。
之前就是有朋友试过 fence 的 location 错了而被他邻居永久获得他的地。

我就不明白邻居为何不肯sign一封信说他们想用我地？

我只是想把事情和邻居说得清凊楚楚，免得以后麻烦。
原來这里之前也有人因小小 fence 的位置而產生dispute.

这就为什么要你的墙set back20cm，这20cm是你的，为了你的所有权可以再建一道fence。否则，你的20cm邻居还是谁便用，你还是吃亏，如果你不建fence，门框和你强之间有20cm的洞，怎么办？要想志气，建fence，不然没办法，

我去，安个gate的挡板很正常吧，难道人家就立个post，然后空200mm？这个就是闹到fence council 或者法庭上，你也会被很礼貌的被法官fxxk off的。

不要小看20cm, 10cm也可把你告上法庭！
