The next step is to verify your identity and income details.
Please send us a copy of your:
1. Driver Licence or proof of address (e.g. most recent electricity bill or utility bill)
2. Australian passport (if you have an Overseas passport, please also provide a copy of your visa) or Medicare Card (without interim or reciprocal health care) to confirm residency
3. Please also provide a copy of the following documents according to your type of income:

* a) If you receive a salary, two months pay slips less than 60 days old
*
* b) If you are self employed, your two most recent tax returns/assessments
*
* c) If you are employed on a casual or temporary basis, or are a contractor, your employment contract and your most recent tax return/assessment
*
* d) If you are retired, your superannuation fund statement or letter from Centrelink less than 60 days old.
The documents above are the most commonly used, but if you don't have access to the documents mentioned above, there are some alternatives we can offer you. Please visit the Credit Card section of the Citibank website and click 'How to Apply' for a full list of documents for each employment type.

If you fax your documents to us, please ensure your Medicare Card and Passport photocopies are clear by selecting the 'photo quality' option on the photocopier.
