Entry forms appear exclusively in The Sun-Herald newspaper at the beginning of every month until race week.
If you are over 18yrs old (under 18's need a parents signature and need to enter with a paper form. Runners under 17 need to have parental/guardian consent'). There is no limit on the number of entries and more than 60,000 are expected.
You don't need to run all the way! Many people make the most of the fun atmosphere and stroll the track whilst observing others who go to great lengths to dress up for the race.
