I am not a tax agent, but I was a little bit concern about the Adjusted taxable income (ATI).
So I went to the ATO website, and found this calculator here. https://expertsystems.ato.gov.au/scripts/net/RITUI/ATI/scATIQuestions.aspx?PID=68&ms=Individuals
I did a simple testing on it.
Your adjusted taxable income (ATI) for the 2010-11 income year has been calculated as follows:
Adjusted taxable income $123,450
This is based on the following information that you provided:
Income $
Taxable income 100,000.00
Tax-free government pensions 20,000.00
Target foreign income 3,000.00
Total net investment loss (sum of Net financial investment loss and Net rental property loss) 450.00
Total of adjusted taxable income 123,450.00
the Total of adjusted taxable income is a sum of all the taxable income, govt pensions, foreign income and investment loss.
I tried to put positive/neg value in the loss items, it doesn't change the result.
So it is 工资收入+投资房房租+投资房抵扣
