Location Hunter New England District, Tamworth CSC
Total remuneration package valued up to $67,314 per annum (Salary: $55,985 pa - $60,863 pa)
includes employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. Pro-rata for part-time position
Provide front line services to the community from a local office (Community Service Centre or "CSC"), including a range of client and administrative services that contribute to the effective delivery of quality services in a CSC.
Job Notes: There are two (2) permanent positions available. One position is permanent full-time and the other is permanent part-time (28 hpw). Appointment will be under the terms of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002. An eligibility list will be created to fill any vacancies that may occur over the next 12 months. It is an offence under the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998 (section 33) for a person convicted of a serious sex offence to apply for this position. Selection Criteria
The following selection criteria form a part of the selection process, so candidates for this role must address each of these items specifically in their application.
Well developed interpersonal skills, including demonstrated capacity to provide a high level of client contact service and the ability to work within a team.
An understanding of the functions of a Community Services Centre (CSC) and the services provided by Community Services as well as an awareness of the functions of other related human service organisations.
General computer office skills, combined with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Capacity to work well within an environment of fluctuating workloads and changing priorities.
Capacity to develop a good working knowledge of Community Services financial, administration and other systems (e.g. KiDS, SAP Financials, SAP HR).
Knowledge of office and government standards and a capacity to understand and apply policies in undertaking administrative processes.
Knowledge of office equipment (photocopy and fax machines, overhead projectors, computers and printers) and a capacity to be able to set up and ensure operational efficiency of equipment for CSC staff. |
