估计雪尼没有，上次我专门去越南埠看，问一个在停车埸旁专门买花的，他那也有许多果树，但他说没有。

我去年也从她那买了几棵枣树，因是裸根种的第一年而且种盆里枣子不算多，但几棵枣树总算是都结了枣子http://www.oursteps.com.au/bbs/f ... ;extra=#pid11818491。
我没从她那里买Li,所以不知道Li不结果的原因。  从另外一个卖家那买的Li倒是结了枣。

在springvale看过枣子，跟国内的想像就是不太新鲜的样子，不知道是空运过来还是本地生产

去年, 曾向Lucy買過兩顆紅棗樹(Li 和 Lang), 當年皆有結果. 我將她給我的紅棗品種的訊息貼出來供有興趣的人參考. .
Li: Large round fruit up 3 ounces in mid-Mar. May be picked at the yellow-green
stage. Best eaten fresh. Best single tree to have. Early fruiting

Suimen (Ming Tsao): Fruit is elongated and excellent fresh or dried.

Chico (Tun Ku Yu Tsao) : Fruit is round but flattened to an unusual shape. Excellent, sweet
taste.Excellent  either fresh or dried.

Tajan (Hu Ping Tsao) : Large, pear-shaped fruits which must be fully colored to be best eating.
Tree is upright and virtually spineless

Thornless: : pear-shaped fruit similar to Tajan, It is virtually thornless.

SHANXI LI: : Extremely large fruit with great flavor.

Lang : Large, pear-shaped fruit which must be fully colored to be best eating. This fruit is best to let dry on the tree. Tree is upright and virtually spineless.

Redlands :Collected at an old homestead in Redlands, California. Very large, sweet, round fruit.

Sherwood:  The fruit is very dense and sweet. Tree is very narrow and upright with leaves that are weeping in habit.

Silverhill (Tigerstooth or Yu Tsao): An elongated fruit like a chili. Virtually spineless.

SIHONG (Mu Shing Hong Tsao) : Excellent, large, round fruit mid-season.

GA-866 : An outstandingly sweet selection out of the Chico Research program. Large, elongated fruit.
Admiral Wilkes :Collected on a South Seas expedition in the 1840's and planted on the Capitol grounds in Washington, D.C. Elongated fruit which has been the very last to ripen, generally in mid to late April.
DON POLENSKI - Similar to Lang but some say it has a better, crisper flavor. Lang Group

雖然去年有結果, 但不是很豐盛, 因為我沒有完全遵循Lucy給的指示照顧, 盛夏時更是草草行事, 所以不敢提供你我的經驗. 僅節錄當時Lucy 給的指示供你參考:

1. Soak the bare rooted tree in water for about ½ hour before planting.
2. Location: Full sun. They should not be planted in the shade of other trees.

Pot planting: jujube roots are very prone to burnt so using the cheap potting mix is essential. No fertilizer until December then dynamic lifter, blood and bone, organic liquid fertiliser or aged manure is recommended a bit at the time at two month intervals during growing season and as top dressing only, avoiding a 2 inch area around the trunk.
Water every couple of days or every day for a small pot. Re-pot in winter when the tree is in dormant.
The first year is a critical time for the establishment of a new jujube tree..Water thoroughly twice a week. Soak the entire root system deeply. Jujubes should receive at least 1 inch of water each week for best growth and fruit production, but established  trees are extremely drought resistant.
Ground planting: Fill the planting hole with the mix of soil and organic matter , Enrich the planting hole with compost or  mixed with soil dug from the hole (50:50mix). No fertiliser until December then dynamic lifter, blood and bone or aged manure is recommended a bit at the time at two month intervals during growing season and as top dressing only, avoiding a 2 inch area around the trunk.
Water once a week, mulch well. Moving to another location is also done in winter when the tree is in dormant

I (是指Lucy 本人)found that the two pots where I placed compost at the bottom, then a layer of soil, then plant my tree, those perform best.
From my experience I observed last year that the one with lots of compost and worms did extremely well..

I did
- Start fertilizing in December for the first year and this year (2nd) in November
- I give each  tree a bit of complete trace elements (Richgrow brand but Yates has this product too) bought in Bunnings once a year around this time.
- I also give each tree a bit of potash (1 heaped teaspoon) twice a year (in autumn and late spring) to encourage the tree to keep the fruits and make them bigger and sweeter
- and a bit of blood and bone (1 heaped tablespoon) every two months from November to March or December to March for newly planted tree.
Regarding to water, I mulch well so I only water twice a week if no rain in Spring and three times a week in Summer. After 2 or 3 year jujube trees cope very well with drought as long as you mulch well but Inadequate soil moisture can cause fruit drop. Watering everyday during flowering and fruiting stages will benefit in term of setting fruits.
I compiled this information based on a couple of books specialized in jujube trees growing and also my own experience in growing them in Australia.
