Everton will be without striker Nikica Jelavic after the Croatian bruised his knee and shin in a collision with a post early on in the 2-2 draw with Newcastle United on Monday night and, although he tried to carry on, he was substituted later in the first half. Midfielder Darron Gibson is also out as he continues his recovery from a thigh strain while full-back Tony Hibbert is a doubt after picking up a knock.
