C. Give details of why your circumstances are compassionate and compelling. (这个问题表上的框填不下,专门附了一页pdf和表一起提交)
I hold visa subclass 600 visiting my children, who are the Australian permanent residents, in Melbourne. I arrived in Australia last March, and planned to leave in March because of visa condition 8558. However, because of the recent coronavirus outbreak, I feel travelling back to China at this stage might be the fatal health risk for me.
The novel coronavirus outbreak is a serious natural disaster in China. More than ten thousand people has already been confirmed infected. The World Health Organisation recommended this as PHEIC. More and more airlines cancelled the flights to China recently, which indiciate the health concern of travelling to China. Actually I had booked a flight back but was informed cancellation. On 1st February, DFAT increased the travel advice to level 4, which is “do not travel to all of mainland of China”. All of those proved the common sense that travelling to China at the moment should be avoided. (这一段是2月1号的情形。。。请根据现在的情况改。)
Moreover, I am turning [年龄] (如果年纪比较大可以提)and I live in [xxx] province, adjacent to Hubei province where the centre of the virus outbreak is. The person at my age is vulnerable to the virus, and the infection may lead to serious result even death. Now I stay at my child’s house with the family avoiding the crowded, to minimise the risk to be contaminated. If I have to go back to China by March, all the way along the journey is exposing myself under the risk of contamination, like the crowded airport, the 10+ hours in unventilated cabin.
Because of the uncontrolled outbreak, and the concern of the health, I plead for the waiver of the No Further Stay condition, so that I can stay longer in Australia, till the contagious virus get controlled. I sincerely appreciate your humane consideration.
