this is what really pisses me off
when i first got foxtel , there were less channels but
there were no ads , but i was happy with the service

in the last 5 years , there is now so many junk channels
and just as many ads per hour if not more than regular tv !
and they have some of the longest ads i have ever seen
and just now im watching a movie and its cut to commercial
wtf ???
grrrrr

i though the whole idea of paying a premium fee
was to get a premium service ....
and if you look at the so called packages that are available
i cant see any way to reduce my monthly cost
because they pack in spam with the decent channels

obviously if the service was pick a channel @ $3 a month per channel
lots of people would be happier
but foxtel would likely have maybe 20+ dead channels

how can we improve the situation ?
i know a single email from one subscriber isn't going to do it

AM radio in melb had upcoming things on foxtel the other day and took calls from listeners
1 in 3 callers rang to say they were paying for service yet were bombarded with ads

it certainly put f..tel stooge in his place
he said limit was 6 min per hour

some one asked for 10% discount as they didnt want to pay for the ads time on the service...

people were saying they are forced to digital and 24 months to get gear
