老板房=老式木板房。多谢。
呵呵,开个玩笑啦
OK,Let's discuss about this. I guess your existing footing system falls into two ways: one is strip footing type under your external wall perimeter or the other only stump footing.
if your footing system is only stumps under your external wall then technically you have to build a new perimeter strip footing to support the new brick wall above around your house.
The other, if your footing system is already having a strip footing under the wall, then depend on how wide the strip footing is (i.e 400mm for double storey & 300mm for single storey), anyway, you may use your existing strip footing to support the new brick wall only if there is enough space, otherwise you will need to build the extra strip footing to add a bit more width to it.
My bet to your house footing system is stump footing under your external wall, so perhaps if you really really want to have the external brick leaf, then a new strip footing is required.
If it is my house, I wouldn't touch it really as it is going to cost a looooooooooot. the construction works are required from the bottom of your house to roof for just adding an extra bricks. I would better start thinking to have a nice new paint, replace the rotten weather board, adding some insulations, or just buy another heaters & air conditioners to cope with temperature.
if you are thinking to sell to gain more dollars, sorry to say, you wouldn't get it. |
