2 c if your record of money at hand is the same with the banks, if not, find out the reason for the difference. the process is called reconcile.

say you have $100 on the 1st day of the month. you paid a $10 cheque to somebody on the 25th of the month. and received a $10 cheque from somebody on the 15th day of the month.

by the end of the month, your cash at hand balance should be $100. however, because the people whom you paid $10 has not banked the cheque yet at the end of the month. your bank account balance is $110 which is $10 more than the cash book.

you have to find out it is because somebody did not bank the cheque you sent  make the two unbalanced.

there will be a report showing how you justified the balances (bank reconciliation report). you dont write it.

是每个月都需要做的工作吧？如果用MYOB等软件的话里面是包括这部分的内容的。

谢谢SUOSUO的详细回复。这样看来这个BANK RECONCILIATION 就是国内出纳做的银行对账工作吧。因为没有这里的实际工作经验，看到招工的广告上写这项时心里不是很有把握，现在心里有点谱了。非常感谢哦！
