今天送儿子去幼儿园,看到公告上面说有HEALTH CARE CARD的家庭小朋友上KINDY一年最高有一千多点的额外补助?需要提供卡的复印件给幼儿园,不知大家知道吗?我们住QLD。
On 17 January 2012 the then Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh MP announced that families with a Health Care Card or equivalent benefits card could receive up to $2,600 per eligible age child per year off the full kindergarten fee in a standalone kindergarten service. This will reduce the out of pocket fee for a kindergarten program for eligible families.
A smaller subsidy via the Health Care Card or equivalent benefits card is also applicable for a kindergarten program offered in Childcare (long day care) centres of up to $1,042 per eligible age child.
Fees vary so we recommend you contact your nearest service for fee information. Parents who are eligible may claim the Child Care Benefit (CCB). It is advised to check your service’s CCB status. For more information contact the Commonwealth Government’s Family Assistance office on 13 61 50.
