As our MI Centre Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining and developing Verve Energy's Cognos Management Reporting Information System, ensuring management has the right information available at the right time, to enable effective decision making.

Key responsibilities include:

    Building complex reports for users who do not have the capability
    Maintaining and developing drill-thru report functionality
    Running audit reports and analysing data anomalies
    Add reports to packages and manage package content
    Providing service updates to users, manage service requests
    Facilitating the development of Verve Energy's performance management reporting processes to identify root causes of performance issues
    Developing and managing Verve Energy's MI production policy and procedures, ensuring a consistent approach across activities
    Developing and maintaining a standard data dictionary, definitions and management of Verve Energy's data quality framework
    Implementing security model & user profiles and approving access & permissions requests
    Strong communication skills are essential
    Able to diagnose and troubleshoot data anomalies
    Understanding of relational and dimensional modelling

You will possess a degree qualification in Business, Finance or Commerce. Graduate or Post Graduate qualifications in Change or Program Management would be an advantage.

You will preferably have 5+ years experience in systems/reporting in an electricity, oil or gas business or similar large utility.
