Many people will think so, however there are some factors for you to consider:
1. The German car is usually a lot more reliable mechenically, comparing to Japanese cars. Therefore they can be serviced less frequently. Feel free to do some research in this forum.
2.If it's a small service, my European car specialist only charges less than $200 including pink slip. There is no need to go to a BMW dealer for services for a 1997 car.
3. For a popular model such as the 318I, there are many 2nd hand parts to choose from which are genuine BMW but at very low cost. |
